SENIOR ADVISOR
HJ MUHAMAD DARIF BIN IDRIS
Tuan Hj Darif is our Senior Advisor. He is a civil engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the water industry. He started his career in Jabatan Kerja Raya (Works Ministry) and later at Jabatan Bekalan Air Selangor and had subsequently gone on to hold various positions in Perbadanan Urus Air Selangor (PUAS) and Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS).
During his tenure in SYABAS, Tuan Haji headed several districts offices and held several important positions in the Head Office. Tuan Haji was for several years the Senior General Manager in charge of operations and maintenance, where he was directly in charge of water supply and distribution together with all operational matters. Tuan Haji also oversaw Project's implementations in SYABAS.
Tuan Haji also held the position as the Chairman of SYABAS plan approval committee. Amongst his responsibilities were to ensure all water supply plan submissions are approved in accordance to the policy and technical requirements. Tuan Haji retired from SYABAS at the end of November 2012.
