IR. HJ. WAN MOHAMED JAAFAR BIN WAN AHMAD
Ir. Hj. Wan Mohamed Jaafar bin Wan Ahmad is one of our directors. He is a civil engineer by profession and has more than 35 years of experience in the field of civil engineering. He obtained his Diploma and Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Institut Teknologi Mara and University of Strathclyde respectively. He's a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia. He also is a Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia.
He started his career as an engineer in JKR Malaysia with posting in JKR Unit KESEDAR in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, and also in Waterworks Branch, JKR Pahang, Kuantan. Subsequently, Ir Wan Jaafar also with Jabatan Bekalan Air Pahang, and with JKR Unit Felda, Temerloh, Pahang Darul Makmur.
Ever since 1998, he was working as an engineer in the private sector involving in various projects including building construction, infrastructure works and waterworks projects. Ir Wan Jaafar also held a position as the Head of Hydraulic Modeling Department in Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS). As the Head of Hydraulic Department, he was responsible in providing an effective and comprehensive overview of the entire SYABAS network system using hydraulic modeling software. Ir Wan Jaafar retired from SYABAS at the end of February 2019.
