Koen has more than 35 years of experience in the water industry especially in Non-Revenue Water Reduction Programs. In the early 2000s, Koen Kinsbergen invented inspection tools for large diameter water pipes, Koen Kinsbergen became intrigued in the way water utilities were dealing with gathered information. High Non-Revenue Water and the lack of money to do something against the aging of the utility inspired him to come up with a holistic solution to manage water utilities. In association with a few world renounced companies, he is now active in programs to reduce NRW in Asia. Using risk-based master planning as the tool to optimize Capital expenditure and maximize practical results, he is also active in Performance based NRW reduction programs.
