CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
VIGNESWERAN THAMBIRAJAH
Vignesweran Thambirajah is our Chief Executive Officer. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in law from the University of Wolverhampton in 1993. Subsequently he received his Certificate in Legal Practice. He currently has almost 30 years of working experience in various capacities and portfolios.
Before joining Blue Water Technology, he was with Engineering Protocol as a director. Prior to that, he spent almost eight years at Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS), amongst others as SYABAS Head of Legal & Enforcement Department. His job involved vetting contract documents, overseeing litigation cases for SYABAS involving breach of contract, water theft, third party damage, arbitration, industrial relations and general advisory matters.
He also sat in various committees amongst others overseeing performance of SYABAS panel contractors, vetting tender documents, reviewing contract documents, collective agreement and others. He was also in the team that successfully procured funding from the Ministry of Finance for SYABAS. Further to this, he was also a member of the committee that advised Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) on drafting new regulations.
Before joining SYABAS, he was previously in legal practice and legal advisor at several companies including Arab Malaysian Bank Berhad.
